Mystic CastleBe the knight in shining armor
Mystic Castle was one of the working titles for what eventually became Thunder Castle when it was released in 1986. The game is a winner, but seems a bit slow by today's standards. Plus, the Intv manual has zero illustrations.
Intelligentvision's Mystic Castle lets you choose between four skill levels to start off. It also updates the bonus item images and fixes the speed issues. It's a good game made even better.
Intelligentvision sold the game as a PCB only, and it's still available as a ROM. To complete the package, this kit includes everything else that would normally come in the box:
- One 10-page, full-color instruction manual
- Two authentic updated overlays
- One self-adhesive cartridge label
Price: $9 plus postage. A small supply of kits will be in stock May 1, 2018, and then they're gone for good.
You can still purchase the ROM here. Need a box to go with your game? Watch AtariAge for details.
